Kate Ward

Kate Ward is an experienced human rights paralegal currently employed at Leigh Day since December 2021, previously working as a Crime and Prison Law Paralegal at Wells Burcombe Solicitors. Prior to this, Kate contributed as a Teaching Volunteer with the Hate Crime Unit, providing training on hate crime awareness, and as a Legal Volunteer at Just for Kids Law, supporting young victims in the criminal justice system. Educational background includes a Legal Practice Course LLM and a Graduate Diploma in Law from The University of Law, along with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Toronto. Additionally, Kate has varied experience in hospitality and teaching, showcasing strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
