Hallie Rose Malitsky has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fashion industry. Hallie Rose began their career as an intern at Oscar de la Renta, where they gained valuable experience in both the design studio and public relations office. Hallie Rose then joined Adam Lippes as a Design Intern, where they worked closely with the Creative Director and was involved in various aspects of the design process.
Hallie Rose'snext role was at Magaschoni, where they served as an Assistant Womenswear Designer. In this position, they executed design development, communicated with overseas factories, and assisted the design team with the launch of a new collection. Hallie Rose also contributed to inspiration research and collection mood boards.
Hallie then joined Brooks Brothers, initially as an Associate Women's Sweater and Cut and Sew Designer, and later as a Designer for Zac Posen Womens Collection. In these roles, they were responsible for creating inspirational concepts, designs, and technical packages for various categories of womenswear. Hallie Rose worked directly with Zac Posen and the Design Director to establish seasonal inspiration, color palettes, and overall direction. Hallie Rose also handled trim and fabric development.
Currently, Hallie serves as the Design Director at Lela Rose, a position they assumed in January 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Head Designer for Lela Rose Pearl. With their extensive experience and expertise, Hallie has proven herself as a versatile and skilled professional in the fashion industry.
Hallie Rose Malitsky completed their education in fashion design, starting in 2005 with a Summer Intensive Program at the Rhode Island School of Design. From 2006 to 2010, they attended Drexel University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Design. In 2008 to 2009, Hallie studied at the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, focusing on both Fashion Design and Footwear Design.
