Martin Georgiev

Martin Georgiev has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Martin began their career as a Software Developer at Eurolion Plc. in 2008, before moving on to PowerNet Telecommunications as a Software Developer from 2008 to 2010. Martin then joined Net React Ltd. as a Senior Software Developer from 2010 to 2013. Martin then worked at Montway Auto Transport as a Senior Software Engineer from 2013 to 2014. Martin subsequently joined RetailMeNot, Inc. as a Software Engineer II from 2015 to 2017. During this time, they also contributed to several PHP projects as an Open Source Contributor at GitHub starting in 2015. Martin then joined Lendable, where they held multiple roles including Lead Software Engineer from 2017 to 2021, Chief of Staff for Engineering from 2019 to 2023, and currently serves as the VP of Engineering starting in 2021.

Martin Georgiev completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems and Technologies from Technical University Sofia in the period of 2005-2010. In 2013, they obtained a European professional qualification in Business Informatics from the School for Business Competencies (Sofia). Additionally, Martin has attained several certifications including ITIL Intermediate - IT Continual Service Improvement, ITIL Intermediate - IT Service Transition, ITIL Foundation, Gamification, Creative, Serious and Playful Science of Android Apps, PRINCE2 Foundation, Metadata: Organizing and Discovering Information, Malicious Software and its Underground Economy, and EBC*L - Level C from various institutions between 2013 and 2017.
