Igor Petrunya

Igor Petrunya has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Igor began their career at the Ministry of Agriculture Research Department, where they served as a Lead Software Engineer. During that time, they designed and developed intranet web applications for the Ministry, specifically focusing on legal documents data delivery, retention, and processing.

Afterwards, Igor joined Advent Software as a Senior Software Engineer. Igor played a significant role in building a comprehensive online portfolio management solution called Advent Portfolio Exchange Platform. Igor led the design and development of various back-end and middle-tier tasks and was responsible for formulating architectural concepts and identifying functional requirements.

Following their time at Advent Software, Igor moved on to work at Hotwire/Expedia Inc as a Senior Software Engineer. There, they led the design and development of the car reservations platform for Car Global Distribution System (GDS) within the Car Rentals Platform.
