Umesh Bhimani

Umesh Bhimani is a seasoned professional in data science with extensive experience across various companies. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Lendingkart since June 2019, Umesh focuses on enhancing portfolio health through credit rules implementation while optimizing approval rates. Prior roles include Vice President and Senior Director of Data Science at Citi, where Umesh developed PPNR models for CCAR and time-series models for Fees and Deposits portfolios. Umesh's career also includes a managerial position at Capgemini, creating PD models for residential mortgages, and analytical roles at Wipro Technologies, Vistaar Technologies, and L&T Infotech. Umesh holds an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai, a Financial Risk Manager designation from the Global Association of Risk Professionals, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Sardar Patel University.
