Severin Simko

Severin Simko has over five years of work experience in the IT industry. In 2015, they began working as an IT Security Team Leader and IT Security Engineer at AXENTA. In 2016, they became a Full Stack Developer at the Computer Security Incident Response Team of Masaryk University. In 2017, they took on the role of Lead Generation & Optimization Specialist at LightFoot Media, Inc. and DevOps Engineer at NXLog Ltd. In 2019, they became a Software Development Team Lead at Siemplify and in 2020, they took on the role of Chief Technology Officer at Lendmarx, LLC. Additionally, in 2018, they established their own IT company, Severin Simko IT Services, which provides cybersecurity solutions for log management, infrastructure monitoring, intrusion detection and prevention, and general IT Infrastructure security hardening and automation.

Severin Simko has an extensive educational background. Severin obtained their high school diploma from Gymnázium Šrobárova 1, Košice in 2012. Severin then completed a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology at Masaryk University Brno in 2016. In the same year, they attended a Computer and Information Sciences, General exchange program at Technische Universität Dresden. Severin also attended an Information Technology exchange program at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz from 2013 to 2014. In 2016, they completed a Master's Degree in Service Science, Management, and Engineering at Masaryk University Brno. Severin also completed a Service Science, Management, and Engineering exchange program at Providence University, Taichung Taiwan from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, they hold two certifications, an IBM Security QRadar Technical Sales Foundations - Level 100 certification from IBM obtained in 2018, and an INVEA-TECH FlowMon Consultant certification from Flowmon Networks obtained in 2016.
