Hakon Birgisson

Hakon Birgisson has held various roles in the business and research sectors since 2004. Hakon began their career as a Research at Encode - Clinical Trials in 2004, and then became a Fund Manager at Glitnir Global Equities in 2006. In 2008, they transitioned to Global Marketing Manager at Biotage AB, Sweden, and then in 2010, they became Director of Global Market Development at ORF Genetics hf. In 2017, they co-founded LenioBio GmbH and was Director of Business Development, and since 2019, they have been Chief Business Officer at Atmonia.

Hakon Birgisson received their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Reykjavik University between 2006 and 2008. Hakon also obtained a PhD in Biotechnology from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University between 1999 and 2004.
