Remberto Martis has a long and varied work experience. Remberto began their career in 1995 as a Senior Development Manager at Philips Benelux, where they were responsible for the development and commercialization of several advanced optical recording media. In 2001, they moved to Philips as a Technology Executive, where they were responsible for Technology Transfer Business and earned the highest RONA within the organization. In 2005, they joined Falcon Technologies International, LLC as a VP Business & Sales Development, where they were a founding team member and responsible for the company strategy, licensing, and business development. In 2010, they moved to Mitsubishi Chemical Europe GmbH as the General Manager Business Development, where they were responsible for the business development for the Next-Generation Growth Businesses. In 2015, they joined the Fraunhofer Institute for Molecular Biology and Applied Ecology (IME) as a Business Development Advisor. Finally, in 2016, they founded and became the CEO of LenioBio GmbH, a life science start-up committed to the advancement of the disruptive technology platform for development and synthesis of proteins in biomedical, industrial, agriculture and other relevant fields of application.
Remberto Martis received their Bachelor degree from Fontys University of Applied Sciences in 1986, majoring in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Remberto then went on to earn their Master's degree from Eindhoven University of Technology in 1989, majoring in Chemical Engineering & Biotechnology. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD from Delft University of Technology in 2015, majoring in Life Science & Technology.
