Elka Hoelsken

Elka Hoelsken is an Assistant Engineer at Lennon, Smith, Souleret Engineering, Inc. since February 2023, previously serving as an Environmental, Health, & Safety Specialist at JAG Welding, Fab & Services from 2022 to 2023. Prior experience includes internships at the Student Farm at Penn State from April 2020 to May 2022 and the Penns Valley Conservation Association from 2021 to 2022, as well as a role as a Soil Science Technician at Penn State University from May 2021 to September 2021, focusing on lab and fieldwork. Elka began professional development as a Crew Member with the Student Conservation Association in June 2017. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resource Management with a specialization in Soil Sciences and a minor in Watersheds/Water Resources from Penn State University, completed in 2022, following a High School Diploma from Burgettstown Area High School in 2018.
