Aicp-C Abigail Sanders

Abigail Thomas currently serves as the Director of the Office of Human Services and Community Partnerships for Leon County Government, following a progression of roles including Health and Human Services Manager and Human Services Analyst. With experience as a Public Information Specialist and Strategic Initiatives and Legislative Affairs Management Intern, Abigail has honed expertise in community service and partnerships. Prior internships with the Florida Housing Coalition and Florida Department of Economic Opportunity involved contributing to housing assessments and disaster recovery mapping, respectively. Previous roles with the City of Tallahassee and LifeWay Christian Resources included community planning and volunteer coordination initiatives. Abigail holds a Master of Science in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning and a Master of Public Administration, both from Florida State University, alongside a Bachelor of Science in International Relations and Affairs.
