Roland El-Khoury

Roland El-Khoury is a seasoned software engineering leader with over two decades of experience in embedded software development, currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Leonardo DRS. Since September 2009, Roland has successfully managed teams of developers, overseeing complex embedded software projects, enforcing development standards, and ensuring regulatory compliance. With a strong technical foundation established through previous positions at companies such as TiVo, CSR USA, Microsoft Corporation, Intervoice Inc, NEC, and NBS Technologies, Roland has led significant projects, mentored junior engineers, and contributed to innovative solutions, including patented technologies. Roland holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Software Engineering from McGill University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
