Craig Lawrie is a seasoned engineer currently serving as Lead Systems Engineer at Leonardo since May 2014, with previous roles as Principal, Senior, and Systems Engineer. Prior to this, Craig worked as a Postgraduate Researcher at the University of Glasgow from 2009 to 2014, focusing on gravitational lensing's impact on gravitational waves and contributing to the LIGO Scientific Collaboration that achieved the first direct gravitational wave observations in 2015. Additionally, Craig served as a Research Assistant, collaborating with Optos to enhance retinal imaging through advanced image processing techniques, leading to successful project outcomes and additional funding. Craig earned a Master's Degree (MSci) in Physics with Astronomy from the University of Glasgow between 2004 and 2009.
