Francesco Calabro

Francesco Calabro serves as the Head of the Artificial Intelligence Research Center at Leonardo since January 2016, focusing on the identification and development of advanced technological solutions in artificial intelligence for the CyberSecurity Division. Prior to this role, Francesco held several positions at Selex ES, including CTO Capability, and contributed to the Smart Energy and Smart Building sectors. Francesco's earlier experience includes managerial roles in system engineering and software development at SelexElsag and SELEX Communications, and a software developer position at Siemens AG. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Executive Master in Energy Resources and Global Environmental Strategies from Luiss Business School and a laurea in electronic engineering from Università di Pisa, complemented by additional studies at Columbia University.
