Gareth Hetheridge

Gareth Hetheridge is an experienced technology and defense professional currently serving as CIO at Leonardo UK and Director of Digital Solutions since November 2021. Alongside this role, Gareth has contributed as the Director of Team Defence Information since February 2017, participating as a council member and keynote speaker at multiple Defense Information events. Gareth also has a longstanding commitment to the British Army Reserves as an HM Officer since August 2013. Prior experience includes leading the IT sector for Rolls-Royce as Global Head of IT - Defence and serving as a Senior IT Business Partner. Gareth's background in the Royal Air Force from May 2008 to November 2011 as a Pilot and Project Manager honed skills in planning and operating under pressure. Educational qualifications include a CMI Diploma in Leadership and Management from the Royal Air Force College Cranwell and attendance at the Staff College - ICSC(LR) Shrivenham in 2021.
