Abby Rachel Cosgrave

Abby Rachel Cosgrave has extensive work experience in the legal and compliance field. Abby Rachel is currently working as the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer at LeoVegas Group since June 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Betsson Group as a Non Executive Director from November 2018 to May 2022. Abby Rachel also served as a Non Executive Director at NetEnt (Net Ent Malta Holdings) from January 2019 to July 2020.

Before joining LeoVegas and Betsson, Abby worked at NBCUniversal as a Legal Affairs Adviser from July 2011 to October 2013. Abby Rachel also gained experience as a Solicitor at PSB Law LLP from May 2010 to July 2011, and as a Trainee Solicitor at Weightmans from May 2008 to April 2010.

Abby's most significant role was at Betsson Group, where they started as a Legal Counsel in 2014 and was eventually promoted to VP Legal and General Counsel in charge of the legal and compliance function at both the Holding Company and Group Operational entities. Abby Rachel actively assisted in implementing governance and risk models and provided legal and compliance advice to management teams throughout the business.

Abby Rachel Cosgrave's education history begins in 2002 when they enrolled at the University of Central Lancashire. Over a period of four years, from 2002 to 2006, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in Law and Politics. Following their undergraduate studies, Abby attended The University of Law in 2006 and 2007, where they completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LPC), focusing on Legal Practice in the Commercial sector. Afterward, Abby pursued a higher level of education at the International Bar Association from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained a Master of Laws degree (LLM) with a concentration in International Legal Practice.
