Stefano Bonino

Stefano Bonino has extensive work experience in the field of network operations and engineering. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Lepida ScpA as the Head of Network Operations, where they managed all network operations, maintenance, and delivery activities. Stefano was also responsible for evaluating and integrating infrastructure upgrades on the Lepida Network, which served about 4000 end points. Additionally, Stefano worked as an RF & Network Engineer at Lepida ScpA, where they designed and implemented various networks, such as licensed radio backbones, Hiperlan networks, and Wi-Fi networks. Stefano also played a role in improving network service and reliability. In 2019, Stefano became a co-founder of ZeroTTL. Prior to that, they co-founded Impact Hub Reggio Emilia in 2015, a collaborative workspace focusing on sustainable projects. Stefano has also been involved in organizing events, such as Startup Weekend in 2014. Before their roles at Lepida ScpA and ZeroTTL, they worked at Essentia Spa as the Head of TAC Team and as an RF & Network Engineer, conducting research and development on wireless networks. Stefano also worked as a Technical and Sales Consultant at Net Engineering Spa.

Stefano Bonino obtained their Master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering with a focus on Optics from Università degli Studi di Parma. Stefano completed this degree from 2001 to 2006.

In terms of certifications, Stefano has several. In March 2014, they became a Juniper Networks Certified Associate for Junos (JNCIA-Junos). In June 2014, they achieved the designation of Juniper Networks Certified Specialist in Enterprise Routing & Switching (JNCIS-ENT). Later, in September 2015, they became a Juniper Networks Certified Professional in Enterprise Routing & Switching (JNCIP-ENT). Stefano acquired the Juniper Networks Certified Design Associate (JNCDA) certification from Juniper Networks in December 2017.

Stefano also obtained the IPv6 Fundamentals - Analyst certification from RIPE NCC in January 2021. Additionally, they hold certification as an A10 Certified Engineer, a Wifless Certified Professional Instructor, a Wifless Certified RF Engineer, and a Wifless Certified Service Provider Engineer.
