Pamela Calvas

Pamela Calvas has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Pamela began their career in 2005 as a Student Admissions Manager at Simon Bolivar Spanish School, where they managed international student admissions, scheduling, and travel plans. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as an E-ambassador for Les Roches International School of Hotel Management, promoting the school's brand and answering inquiries from prospective students.

Calvas then gained experience in the hospitality industry, working as a Food and Beverage Manager at La Réserve Genève - Hotel and Spa in 2011 and as part of the Pre-opening Leadership Team at Jing An Shangri-La West Shanghai in 2013. Pamela also had a role as an MIT in the Rooms Division at JW Marriott Indianapolis from 2012 to 2013, where they executed various duties related to guest services.

In 2014, Calvas became the General Manager of YFS Private Club & Event Space, responsible for opening and managing a boutique food and beverage venue. Pamela generated new business through various channels and strengthened member relationships using CRM.

From 2015 to 2018, Calvas served as a Business Development Manager at Abacare Group Limited, negotiating and closing sales, managing client accounts, and achieving significant company growth. Pamela then transitioned to CORE Investment Partners Ltd., where they worked as an Investor Relations Manager in the Hospitality & Residential Real Estate sector, identifying investment opportunities and coordinating new business strategies.

In 2020, Calvas joined Bryte as a Regional Hotel Partnerships Manager, where they helped hotels integrate sleep technology into their guestrooms. Pamela later became the Director of Hospitality Partnerships, overseeing partnerships and the development of the company's AI-driven sleep technology. Additionally, they joined Les Roches in 2020 as an Alumni Ambassador for the USA, focusing on growing the alumni network and organizing digital events.

Currently, Calvas holds the position of Regional Vice President - Les Roches Alumni USA at Les Roches, where they continue to strengthen the alumni network. Pamela'swork experience reflects their expertise in the hospitality industry, business development, and client relations.

Pamela Calvas completed their Bachelor's degree in International Studies with a minor in Bilingual Foreign Trade at Universidad del Azuay from 2005 to 2009. In 2004 and 2005, they studied Scandinavian Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at Sts High School Foundation in Denmark. From 2010 to 2012, they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality Management from Les Roches in Switzerland. In 2018 and 2019, they pursued Chinese Studies at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Additionally, they obtained several certifications on various topics such as sales, conflict management, entrepreneurship, and compassionate management from LinkedIn.
