Grant Carter

Grant Carter has a diverse and extensive work experience. Grant is currently working as the Chief Information Officer (Merchant Division) at Lesaka Technologies Inc. since April 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Information Officer at Card Connect from April 2019 to December 2022.

Before joining Card Connect, Grant worked at Kazang from March 2012 to December 2018, where they initially served as the Chief Information Officer and later took on the role of Head of IT and Product Development.

From July 2010 to February 2012, Grant served as the Chief Operating Officer at ContentSwitch Technologies (Pty) Ltd. Their early career was with Psitek, where they started as an Executive: Access to Services in November 2002 and continued in various roles until June 2010.

Grant Carter obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town from 1993 to 1996. Grant furthered their education at the same institution, earning a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in M.Sc(Eng), from 1997 to 1998.
