Mainak Pal Chowdhury

Mainak Pal Chowdhury is currently positioned as a Data Scientist at Lethbridge College since November 2023. Previously, Mainak served as a Data Engineer at the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia from January to April 2023, where responsibilities included implementing changes to the CMS pipeline and restructuring the Data Governance pipeline using a Spark SQL framework. From July 2018 to August 2021, Mainak worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Siemens Technology India, focusing on maintenance and bug fixes for the WinCC classic SCADA system, and developing features such as a function usage tracker and multiple drag-and-drop capabilities. Mainak holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from SRM IST Chennai (2014-2018) and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Data Science at the University of Victoria, starting in January 2022.
