Joshua Cherney

Joshua Cherney, CFA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations at Leucadia Asset Management since September 2020. Prior to this role, Joshua was the Head of Business Development and Investor Relations at Scopia Capital Management LP from October 2016 to September 2020. Joshua also held the position of Vice President at BlackRock from August 2012 to October 2016, where responsibilities included serving as a Hedge Fund Research Analyst. Earlier at BlackRock, a Summer Associate role focused on Hedge Fund Research Analyst duties took place in summer 2011. Joshua began a career in finance as an Investment Analyst at Amherst College's Endowment Office from January 2008 to June 2010. Joshua completed an MBA at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth between 2010 and 2012 and holds a B.A. in History from Amherst College, graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 2005.
