Ian McCafferty

Ian McCafferty serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Leukaemia UK while also being a member of the Board of Trustees. Currently, Ian is a member of the Senior Salary Review Body at the Cabinet Office and holds positions on the Investment Committee at London Wall Partners LLP and as a Senior Adviser at Oxford Economics. Ian has been a Visiting Professor at King's College London since September 2018. Previously, Ian was an External Member of the Monetary Policy Committee at the Bank of England and served as the Chief Economic Adviser at the Confederation of British Industry. Ian's professional background includes roles at BP as Head of Macroeconomics and at NatWest Markets as Director of International Economics, alongside earlier experience as Chief International Economist at Baring Securities. Ian holds an MA in European Economics from the University of Amsterdam and a BA Hons in Economics from Durham University.
