Dr. Thea Böhm

Dr. Thea Böhm has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Dr. Thea is currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Leukocare AG since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Business Development at ProBioGen AG from April 2022 to October 2022.

In 2021, Dr. Böhm held the position of Senior Director of Business Development Cell & Gene Therapy at Catalent Pharma Solutions from May 2021 to April 2022. Before that, they worked at Bristol Myers Squibb as a Senior Key-Account-Manager CAR T from February 2021 to April 2021.

From August 2019 to February 2021, Dr. Böhm served as the Team Lead Medical Scientific Liaison Europe - Cell & Gene Therapy at Miltenyi Biomedicine. Prior to that, they were the Clinical Business/Account Manager/Project Manager DACH at Miltenyi Biotec from May 2014 to July 2019.

Dr. Böhm's earlier work experience includes serving as a Project Manager in Clinical Development at Cytonet GmbH & Co. KG from April 2011 to April 2014, and as a Project Manager in Preclinical Research at GANYMED Pharmaceuticals AG from November 2010 to March 2011.

Dr. Thea also worked at Boehringer Ingelheim as a Senior Post-Doc with Team-Leader-Function from October 2008 to October 2010, and at Sanofi as a Post-Doc in Cardiac and Renal Diseases from February 2007 to September 2008.

Dr. Thea Böhm received their education in the field of biotechnology and immunology. Dr. Thea began their studies in 1998 at Köthen, where they pursued a degree in Biotechnologie and graduated in 2003 as a Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing.). Following this, they furthered their education at Heidelberg University from 2003 to 2007 and obtained their Dr.sc.hum. degree in Immunology.
