Praveen Huber, Ph.D.

Praveen Huber, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Ph.D. Student at Mahidol University, focusing on studying the anti-inflammatory effects of Atorvastatin. Following this, they served as a Clinical Research Manager at Chulalongkorn University, where they were involved in setting up a research center for clinical trials and bioequivalent studies.

In 2009, Praveen joined Mahidol Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit MORU as a Clinical Studies Associate and Project Coordinator, responsible for coordinating clinical trials and conducting literature reviews on vivax malaria. They also worked as a Post Doctorate during this time.

In 2013, Praveen transitioned to FHI 360, serving as a Project Manager. They led project planning, execution, and finalization, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Additionally, they provided guidance and monitoring to project staff, fostering effective teamwork.

Moving on to Siam Bioscience Co., Ltd., Praveen worked as a Global Clinical Project Manager, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive products through the market authorization process based on European standards. They then took on the role of Business Development and Liaison Manager, where they conducted feasibility studies and manuscript writing for scientific journals.

In 2017, Praveen briefly worked as a student at Goethe-Institut Munich before joining Leukocare AG in 2018. They started as a Business Development Manager and later progressed to become an Associate Director and ultimately the Director, Global Head of Alliance and Project Management, overseeing global alliance and project initiatives.

Throughout their career, Praveen has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of project management, business development, and clinical research coordination.

Dr. Praveen Huber holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmacology from Mahidol University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2008. Praveen also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical Sciences, General, which they obtained from Mahidol University International College from 1998 to 2001. In terms of additional certifications, Dr. Huber completed the "Financial Management for Non-Financial Executives" program at Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University in June 2016. Praveen has also obtained several certifications in research ethics, responsible conduct of research, and clinical trial practices from various institutions such as FHI 360, Colloaborative Insititutional Training Initiative (CITI), and University of Oxford between 2012 and 2013.
