Nick Kao

Nicholas Kao is a data scientist currently working at Level Agency since February 2022, while also participating in a Data Science for Python Boot Camp at Dataquest.io. With extensive experience as a personal coach at Crossfit San Ramon and Crossfit Pleasanton since August 2014, Nicholas manages and instructs athletes on proper physical techniques. Previously, Nicholas served as a digital marketing analyst at Becker, specializing in pay-per-click advertising for higher education. Academic achievements include membership in The National Society of Leadership and Success and a research internship at Blue Goji focusing on virtual reality applications for children's learning. Nicholas also holds a Fung Fellowship for Wellness and Technology Innovations, providing interdisciplinary health and tech experiences. Prior military experience includes serving in the US Army as an unmanned aerial systems standardization operator, along with early career experience as a Starbucks barista. Educational qualifications consist of a degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, and earlier studies in Mathematics at Diablo Valley College and Cochise College.
