Sara Evans

Sara Evans has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Sara most recently worked as a Data Analyst at Level Ex starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Business Intelligence Data Analyst II at DNSFilter from February 2022 to December 2022.

In their previous role at Urban Science, Sara worked as an Analyst from August 2020 to January 2022. Sara utilized SQL, Excel, and Python to answer ad hoc requests and present data from large relational databases. Additionally, they were responsible for processing, cleaning, and ensuring the quality of incoming data streams. Sara also generated periodic reports and updated company software.

Before joining Urban Science, Sara had various roles at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Sara was a Student from August 2018 to August 2020, a Student Researcher in June-August 2019, and a Digital Projects Assistant from August 2018 to May 2019.

In June 2019, Sara participated in NOAA's PopDy and EcoSci: A Population Dynamics and Ecosystem Science Workshop.

Sara Evans started their education journey in 2015 at New York University, where they pursued a field of study that is not specified and did not obtain a degree. In 2018, they enrolled at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology and Data Science in the year 2020. During this time, Sara also participated in a Data Scientist with Python Career Track program at DataCamp, which they completed in 2020. As a result, Sara obtained the certification of Data Scientist with Python from DataCamp in May 2020.
