Tamir Raz began their work experience in 2012 at the C4I And Cyber Security Directorate, IDF - Israel Defence Forces. Tamir started as an Automation Engineer, where they developed and deployed a proprietary Python-based test framework for network devices. Tamir also led a small team in conducting manual QA, automation, and lab management.
In 2013, Tamir transitioned to the role of Senior Firmware Engineer at the same company. Here, they primarily worked with C++ in UNIX environments for embedded devices. Tamir also developed Linux kernel modules and FPGA logic using VHDL and Verilog.
From February 2016 to January 2019, Tamir held the position of System Technologies Architect at the C4I And Cyber Security Directorate. In this role, they were responsible for instituting various mechanisms, products, and systems from idea/demand to advanced design stages. Tamir specialized in detailed hardware architectures and low-level logic design for high-throughput secure embedded network devices. Tamir also gained experience in OS and hypervisor research and development.
Most recently, in November 2019, Tamir joined LEVL Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer. No end date was provided, indicating that they are currently in this position.
Tamir Raz attended Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2011. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical Engineering as well as a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics.
