R. Alex Cross has a diverse work experience in the food and beverage industry. R. Alex began their career at Starbucks Coffee Company as a Barista in October 2007. R. Alex then moved on to Centerplate in 2007, where they held various roles including Concessions Manager at Principal Park and Jack Trice Stadium, Distribution/Purchasing Manager at Principal Park and Iowa State University, and Catering & Suites Director at Principal Park. From September 2010 to June 2011, they served as the General Manager of Peoria Sports Complex, responsible for all food and beverage operations for Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres Spring Training. Since 2011, they have been with Levy Restaurants, starting as the General Manager of Concessions and then progressing to the position of Director of Concessions. Currently, they work at Levy Restaurants as the Assistant Director of Operations at CHI Health Center Omaha, overseeing food and beverage operations across multiple departments and a large event facility.
R. Alex Cross obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Iowa State University - Ivy College of Business, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. In addition to their degree, Cross also obtained a ServeSafe certification from the National Restaurant Association in March 2017.
