Stephanie Klafert has a diverse work experience in the food and hospitality industry. Stephanie currently holds the position of Director of Operations at Levy Restaurants, starting in 2021. Previously, they also worked as a Director of Operations at Levy Restaurants from 2018 to 2021, where they were responsible for managing multiple units and overseeing various operational aspects at different venues. Before that, Stephanie worked at Sodexo as a General Manager from 2016 to 2018, where they developed sales strategies and managed off-site events. Stephanie also worked as a Senior Catering Sales Manager at Sodexo from 2015 to 2016, where they were responsible for enhancing menus and decor for special events and designing unique floor plans. Prior to Sodexo, Stephanie worked at McCormick Place as a Branded Outlet Manager from 2013 to 2014, where they trained and managed staff, and also as a Booth and Meeting Rooms Catering Sales Manager from 2012 to 2013. Stephanie started their career at Sodexo as an Executive Chef in 2012, where their responsibilities included ensuring food safety, managing inventory, and developing menus for various events.
Stephanie Klafert began their education in 2005 at The Art Institutes, where they pursued an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training. Stephanie completed their studies in 2018. In 2013, they continued their education at the Illinois Institute of Art, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Hospitality Management in 2016. Additionally, Stephanie obtained a certification in OSHA from the Summit Training Source - A Member of the HSI Family of Brands in February 2016.
