Polly Gartrell has a diverse professional background. Polly began their career in 2014 as a Production Staff for the Huntsville High Student News Team. In 2017, they took on the roles of Chaplain, Philanthropy Committee, and Nutrition and Wellness Committee for Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. In 2018, they worked as a Lifeguard, Facilitator, and Programming Director for Camp Maranatha in Scottsboro, AL. In 2019, they were a Box Office Assistant for The University of Alabama Department of Theatre and Dance and a Community Events Intern for Madison County Commission. Most recently, in 2020, they were a Marketing Intern for Weber Mortgage and, in 2021, a Content Specialist and Content Planning Coordinator for Lewis Communications. In their role as Content Planning Coordinator, they managed social media accounts for one of the agency's largest clients, maintained client social content calendars, and assisted in content planning.
Polly Gartrell obtained a Bachelor's degree in Theatre/Theater from The University of Alabama in 2020, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from the same institution in 2020. Polly is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Marketing from The University of Alabama, which they began in 2020. Additionally, Gartrell has obtained various certifications from Google, LinkedIn, HubSpot Academy, and Hootsuite, including Google Ads Video, LinkedIn Marketing Solutions Fundamentals, Google Analytics, HubSpot Email Marketing, HubSpot Inbound, HubSpot Inbound Marketing, Google Ads Measurement, Google Ads Search, and Hootsuite Platform Certification.
