Marc Alexander

Marc Alexander has extensive work experience in the risk management and information security field. Marc began their career at Nedbank in 2001, where they worked as a Cost Accountant until 2004. Marc then moved on to roles such as Manager ABC Costing and Divisional Risk and Compliance Monitoring Officer at Nedbank from 2004 to 2009. From 2010 to 2013, Marc worked as a Senior Manager in Enterprise Risk Management at Nedbank.

In 2013, they joined MMI Holdings as the Head of Enterprise Risk Management, where they were responsible for developing and managing a risk management framework for the company's international subsidiaries. Marc also served as the Chief Risk Officer at MMI International, leading the risk and compliance function for MMI's international operations from 2015 to 2016.

In 2016, Marc joined Lewis Group Ltd as the Chief Risk and Information Security Officer.

Marc Alexander's education history began in 1996 with a National Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting from Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Marc then attended the University of the Western Cape from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a BCOM degree in Information Systems. In 2006, Marc pursued further education at the University of the Witwatersrand, completing the Management Advancement Programme. In 2011, they attended both the London Business School and the University of the Witwatersrand, participating in the International Executive Development Programme at both institutions.
