Jean-François Henrotte

Jean-François Henrotte is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various prestigious roles. Currently serving as Président of the Conférence Internationale des Barreaux since December 2019 and Secrétaire général of the Union Internationale des Avocats since November 2023, Jean-François also holds the position of Délégué belge at the Conseil des barreaux européens since September 2021. As a Partner at Lexing - Belgium and Vice-président of Lexing - Network since October 2016 and September 2011 respectively, Jean-François contributes significantly to legal development and networking. Additionally, Jean-François serves as a Collaborateur scientifique at Université de Liège and has held the position of directeur at RDTI and JLMB since 2000 and 1998 respectively. Jean-François is a member of the Barreau de Bruxelles and Barreau de Liège and possesses multiple degrees in law from University of Liège and Université de Namur, including a DEA in competition law and intellectual property.
