Ralph McCracken is the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator at the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department (LFCHD) since August 2019, responsible for planning, training, evaluating, and responding to public health emergencies. Additionally, Ralph serves as the Health Department representative on various emergency response committees and operational task forces. Prior to this role, Ralph worked as an Environmentalist at the same health department since October 2008 and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the US Army after a distinguished career spanning from May 1978 to June 2006. Ralph holds a Master of Science degree from Marshall University.
