Bob Callen currently serves as Librarian II and Assistant Manager at the Northside Branch of Lexington Public Library, overseeing a team responsible for various library services. Since joining the library in July 2003, Bob has held multiple positions, including managing circulation and public computing at the Central Library and supervising educational programs. Bob has actively participated in various committees to enhance community accessibility and library services and has gained recognition as a nominee for the Joseph Miller Outstanding Customer Service Award. Additionally, Bob has experience as an instructor at the University of Kentucky, teaching composition courses and assisting in digital humanities research. Bob holds a Master of Science in Library Science and a Master of Arts in English from the University of Kentucky, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English and Medieval Studies from Northern Kentucky University.
