Dong-Su Kim

Dong-Su Kim has over 20 years of experience in venture capital and technology. Dong-Su began their career in 1997 as a Senior Manager at Samsung Electronics. In 2008, they became a Director at Asia Evolution. From 2009 to 2018, they were Vice President and General Manager at Samsung Ventures America, where they led investments in over 30 companies. In 2018, they became CEO of LG Technology Ventures, a CVC arm of LG Group with over $400M under management. Dong-Su has served on the boards of numerous companies and was an observer for several others.

Dong-Su Kim attended St. Albans School from 1985-1987 and earned their High School degree. Dong-Su then attended Caltech from 1987-1991 and earned a BS in Applied Physics. Dong-Su continued their studies at Princeton University from 1991-1997 and earned their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
