Pieter Oostlander

Pieter Oostlander is currently working as the Chief Science Officer at Lgem | synalgae, with previous experience as a Bioprocess Scientist at the same company. Prior to that, Pieter served as the Pilot Team Lead at Photanol. Pieter completed their PhD in Bioprocess Engineering at Wageningen University & Research, where Pieter focused on the cost of microalgae production for aquaculture hatcheries. Pieter holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology with a specialization in Environmental and Biobased Biotechnology, and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology. Pieter also completed an internship as a research MSc student at Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro.
