Paul Lupascu

Paul Lupascu, PhD has extensive experience in risk management and quantitative research. Paul most recently served as the Head of Risk Controlling & Security at LGT Private Banking starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Risk Management & Risk Control at Gazprombank (Switzerland) Ltd from April 2020 to August 2022. Paul also served as the Head of Quantitative Research at Raiffeisen Schweiz from November 2015 to March 2020. Paul has previously held roles as a Senior Market Risk Analyst at Swiss Re from January 2011 to October 2015 and as a Senior Quantitative Risk Analyst at Glencore from September 2007 to December 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young from April 2001 to August 2007.

Paul Lupascu, PhD, received their Master of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Bucharest, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Paul later went on to obtain their PhD in Mathematics from the University of Zurich, completing their studies from 1996 to 2001.
