Luke V.

Luke V. has a strong background in tax advisory and structuring. Luke currently serves as an Associate Director - Investment Tax Structurer at LGT Capital Partners, a position they have held since August 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Tax Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates from February 2019 to April 2020. At Skadden, Luke advised institutional investors and fund managers on various asset classes with a focus on UK real estate and European credit. Luke also gained experience working with clients and local counsel on international deals. Before joining Skadden, Luke was a Senior Tax Associate at Milbank LLP from November 2014 to August 2018. At Milbank, they specialized in leveraged/acquisition finance, structured finance, and aviation finance, representing lenders, sponsors, and investment managers. Luke began their career as a Tax Associate Lawyer at Sidley Austin LLP in September 2010 and transitioned from a Trainee Solicitor role at the same firm.

Luke V.'s education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics and Classical Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from King's College London in 2005.
