Francois Sanson

Francois Sanson currently serves as the Head of the Simulation, Optimization and Data Analysis team at Lhyfe since December 2020, leading the optimization, simulation, and statistical learning initiatives for product development. Responsibilities include the development and deployment of innovative algorithms in control, optimization, and data processing, along with participation in multiple research projects and international conferences. Previously, Francois held positions at the European Space Agency as an Internal Research Fellow, and at Inria as a Research Engineer and Graduate Research Assistant, where significant work included developing statistical models for space object reentry and implementing statistical learning algorithms. Education includes a PhD in Applied Mathematics from École Polytechnique, a Master of Science in Fluid Mechanics from ENSTA Paris, and another Master of Science in Aerodynamics and Astronautics from Purdue University.
