Paolo Benavides has a strong background in business development and sales in the telecom and technology industries. From 2017, they have been the Business Development Director - EMEA for Li Tong Group (LTG), where they are responsible for the P&L of the telecom unit in the EMEA region. Paolo has successfully grown the regional telecom business unit and manages a business development team based in Vienna, Netherlands, and Dubai. Prior to this, from 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Director Level Commercial Advisor - Telecom, providing commercial advisory services to telecom and technology companies interested in entering the CIS and Turkey markets. Paolo successfully led three company market entries into Turkey and Russia and provided market research studies for customers. From 2010 to 2015, they were the Senior VP of Sales & Business Development for GSM Systems, where they played a key role in growing regional sales and landing the largest hardware sale project in company history. Paolo also created the strategic sales plan for market expansion, set up the company, and opened a regional office, resulting in the acquisition of 15 new regional accounts and signing 5 framework agreements. Earlier in their career, from 2002 to 2008, they held various business development, sales, and account management roles at E-Monee.
Paolo Benavides completed their BSc degree in Global Business from Arizona State University between 1998 and 2002. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the London Business School from 2007 to 2009.
