Sarah Burton

Sarah Burton is an experienced School Business Leader currently serving at Liberty Academy Trust since January 2023, following a similar role at The National Autistic Society Academy Trust from October 2014 to January 2023. Prior to these positions, Sarah held the role of School Bursar at Staffordshire County Council from October 2001 to September 2014 and worked as a Nursery Assistant at Audley Pre-School Playgroup from April 1999 to September 2001. Early career experience includes working as a publican from January 1995 to October 1998 and as a Personal Loan Consultant and Bank Clerk at Yorkshire Bank from July 1991 to July 1995. Sarah's educational qualifications include an ILM5 Diploma in School Business Leadership obtained from SBM Partnership, along with a CSBM with Distinction from the National College of School Leadership. Additional studies were completed at The Open University, University of Staffordshire, University of Wales in Cardiff, City of Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College, and Madeley High School.
