Wayne Cain

Wayne Cain has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Wayne began their career as a Provider Enrollment Specialist at First Coast Service Options, Inc. in 2008 and later transitioned to a Billing Manager role at Liberty Ambulance in 2010. At Liberty Ambulance, Wayne worked their way up and assumed various positions, including Director of Training, Safety & Risk Management, and Chief Compliance Officer. Wayne also served as the Chief Operating Officer at Liberty Ambulance before leaving in 2023. In addition to their time at Liberty Ambulance, Wayne also worked as a Fire Rescue Communications Officer at the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department from 2022 to 2023. Prior to their career at Liberty Ambulance, Wayne also founded Cain Compliance Consultants, LLC in 2021.

Wayne Cain's education history begins with their enrollment and completion at the National Academy of Ambulance Coding, where they obtained a certification as a Certified Ambulance Compliance Officer in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic). Wayne attended this school until the year 2018. Prior to that, they attended Florida State College at Jacksonville from 2000 to 2002 and obtained an Associate's degree in Emergency Medical Services Technology.

In addition to their education, Wayne has obtained several certifications. These include the Certified Ambulance Compliance Officer, Certified Ambulance Documentation Specialist, Certified Ambulance Privacy Officer, and Certified Ambulance Coder certifications, all obtained from NAAC, Inc. in August 2018. Wayne also holds the Florida Emergency Medical Technician certification from the State of Florida Department of Health, achieved in December 2020, and the Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician certification from NREMT, obtained in December 2020.
