Matthew Pesacreta M.D.

Matthew Pesacreta MD has extensive experience in the field of nephrology. Matthew started their career in 2004 at Teredesai McCann and Associates as a Physician - Nephrologist. In the same year, they also joined St. Clair Hospital as a Staff Nephrologist. Over the years, they took on various roles at St. Clair Hospital, including Chief of Nephrology and Member Board of Directors. In 2019, they became the Chairman of the Board at St Clair Physician Partners. Additionally, Matthew has served as a Medical Director at Liberty Dialysis LLC and Fresenius Medical Care. Matthew has also worked as a Staff Nephrologist at Heritage Valley Health System and The Washington Hospital.

Matthew Pesacreta MD received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General from Bucknell University in 1993. Matthew then went on to attend the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine from 1994 to 1998, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Following this, they completed their Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center from 1998 to 2001. Matthew then pursued further specialization, completing a Geriatrics Fellowship from 2001 to 2002 and a Nephrology Fellowship from 2002 to 2004, both at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
