Giselle Armendariz currently serves as a Coach for Leadership Development at Hispanics in Philanthropy and as Chair of Liberty Hill Workers United for Nolsw Local 2320 UAW. Giselle has held the position of Program Manager of Capacity Building at the Liberty Hill Foundation since September 2021, having previously worked as a Program Assistant there. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Irvine, where assistance was provided to Professor Mike Mendez on research concerning undocumented Indigenous workers and their vulnerability to wildfire exposure. Additional experience encompasses an internship at the Southern California Association of Governments focusing on housing policies and a planning internship with the City of Claremont. Giselle holds a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from UC Irvine, as well as a Bachelor's degree in the same field. Prior education includes a focus on Political Science at Mt. San Antonio College.
