Jorge Acosta

Jorge Acosta, PMP has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Jorge began their career at AT&T in 2006, where they served as a Manager for over 14 years until November 2020. In November 2020, they joined Liberty Business as a Project Manager and held this role until April 2022. Currently, Jorge is working at Liberty of Puerto Rico as a CIMO Project Manager.

Jorge Acosta, PMP, has a Bachelor's degree in Contabilidad from Universidad de Puerto Rico, which they obtained from 2000 to 2006. In 2022, they pursued further education by enrolling in the University of Phoenix, where they are currently working towards a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General.

In addition to their formal education, Jorge has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Jorge received the Agile Project Management with Microsoft Project certification from LinkedIn in December 2022. Prior to that, in September 2022, they acquired the Six Sigma Foundations certification and in August 2022, they obtained the Operational Excellence Foundations certification.

Throughout 2022, Jorge also obtained various additional certifications and completed several courses on LinkedIn. These include certifications such as "15 Secrets Successful People Know about Time Management (getAbstract Summary)", "How to Stop Wasting Time in Meetings", "Introducing the PMBOK® Guide—Seventh Edition", "Job Interview Nano Tips with Madeline Mann", "Learning Gantt Charts", "Microsoft Planner Essential Training", and "The Top PMO Challenges". Jorge completed these courses to improve their knowledge and skills in areas like time management, project management, and strategic planning.

Furthermore, in 2021, Jorge acquired certifications such as "Strategic Planning Foundations", "Cómo desarrollar la inteligencia emocional", "Cómo generar confianza", "Cómo liderar sin autoridad formal", "Fundamentos de la evaluación del rendimiento", "Fundamentos de la gestión empresarial", "Gestión de proyectos con un café", and "Project: Gestión de proyectos ágiles".
