Steve Mcmurray

Steve McMurray is an experienced finance professional currently serving as CFO at Liberty Specialty Markets since June 2019. Prior to this role, Steve held the CFO position at BGC Partners from April 2016 to December 2018 and was the Director of Finance at Amlin from March 2007 to February 2016. Earlier in Steve's career, significant roles included Chief Financial Accountant at the Bank of England from December 2003 to March 2007 and Senior Manager in Banking & Capital Markets at PwC from September 1995 to December 2003. Steve McMurray holds an MA in Geography from the University of Cambridge, earned between 1992 and 1995, and completed education at Deyes High School in Merseyside from 1985 to 1992.
