Matthew Portes

Matthew Portes has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matthew currently works as the Vice President and Loan Portfolio Manager at Libertyville Bank and Trust, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, they were the owner of MGP Holdings LLC since August 2012. Matthew also worked at Marc Realty, where they held multiple roles including Property Manager from March 2018 to October 2022, and Financial Analyst from January 2014 to October 2022. Before Marc Realty, they worked at National Securities as the Director of Alternative Investments from April 2008 to December 2011, and as an Associate in Investment Banking from May 2004 to April 2008. Matthew also has experience as a Financial Analyst at Spherion Professional Services from March 2000 to August 2001, and as a Billing Analyst at the same company from August 1999 to January 2000.

Matthew Portes attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Matthew furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Marketing at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2002 to 2004.
