Neil Mortimer

Neil Mortimer joined the Libra Group in 2003 and as Chief Accounting Officer is responsible for financial reporting and treasury functions across the group. Neil qualified as a Chartered Accountant (England and Wales) in 1982. He was in professional practice for seven years with leading international accountancy firm, Moore Stephens.

In 1984 he embarked on a 20 year career in shipping, firstly with Golden Ocean Services and later with Carisbrooke Shipping where he was Finance and Commercial Director, a role spanning accounting, tax planning and management of relationships with joint venture partners and third party advisors.

Since joining the Libra Group, Neil has been a key member of the team that has diversified the Group out of shipping and into other sectors.
