Deborah Joy

Deborah Joy has extensive work experience in the library and marketing fields. Deborah started their career as a Librarian at the Carroll County Public Library System in 2009 before transitioning to roles in grants management at Center Stage Baltimore and Enoch Pratt Free Library & Maryland State Library Resource Center. Deborah also worked as an Independent Writer, focusing on marketing communications for various clients. Deborah later moved into leadership positions at Library Systems & Services, LLC and LibraryIQ as a Director of Marketing and eventually as Managing Director.

Deborah Joy obtained a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from The University of Kansas. Deborah later pursued a MLS degree in Library and Information Science at the University of Maryland.
