Gary Smith

Gary Smith is the current Chief Information Officer at Library Systems & Services, LLC. Gary has previously held this position at Inphonic and Simplexity. Gary was responsible for all IT functions within Inphonic/Simplexity, a publicly traded Internet wireless retailer with revenues of over $300 million a year. Prior to that, they were the CIO of VarsityBooks.com, which was the leading online retailer of new college textbooks and a marketing channel for marketing products and services to the nation's 15 million college students. Gary has also held the position of VP, Technical Services at Discovery Channel and Discovery Communications.

Gary Smith has a Bachelor of Science in Technology and Management from University of Maryland, and they also attended Wilde Lake High School.
