Artis Apskalns has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Artis started their career in 2009 as an International Marketing and Sales student at Business Academy Aarhus, focusing on marketing, sales, and communication. Artis also gained experience as a Marketing Intern at YKIKI COPENHAGEN and a Marketing Manager at the Sport Psychology Institute.

In 2011, Artis worked as a B2B International Marketing and Sales student at Copenhagen Business Academy, where they represented the academy at a national level in a marketing competition and developed strategies for major Danish and international businesses.

Artis then served as a Futurist/Researcher at Future Navigator in 2013 before founding their own Business & Marketing Consultancy called astir. In the same year, Artis also worked as a Founder, Business & Marketing Consultancy.

Artis joined LICIOUS in 2015 as the Director of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships, responsible for combining storytelling with emerging technology to engage audiences. Artis worked with clients such as Coca-Cola, Starwood, and P&G.

In 2015, Artis also began working at Bitesize Incubator as a Consultant and Designer, providing consulting and design services.

In 2018, Artis joined lvl.agency as part of the Marketing & Strategic Partnerships team. Artis also joined Bestir Group in the same year, focusing on Outreach & Strategic Partnerships.

Artis Apskalns obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Marketing and Sales from Copenhagen Business Academy, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued an AP degree in International Marketing Management from Business Academy Aarhus, from 2009 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Artis Apskalns also obtained a Google Analytics Certification from Google in August 2015. Artis further enhanced their skills by attaining an AdWords Certification in Fundamentals and Advanced Search from Google in March 2015.
